The Technicut ERG176_3 is an Auto-retracting Dorsal Slider with an Ergonomic design and in ABS construction.
Suitable for tasks such as opening packaging and cutting various materials (cardboard, strapping and film etc.)
This knife features an auto-retracting blade using a ‘thumbs off’ method The user deploys the blade and engages into the material to be cut, moving the ‘thumb off’ of the slider, the blade is held by the friction of the material. On exiting the cut the blade will safely auto-retract back into the knife.
The ERG176_3 has a blade storage section in the ergonomic handle allowing the user to have two spare blades safely with the knife at all times.
Additionally, the Dorsal Slider can be operated using either side or the top of the slider making the ERG176_3 completely ambidextrous without the need for any change of configuration.
